G3000 Safety Helmet

The Peltor G3000 safety helmet can be equipped with various visors, hearing protection with a helmet attachment, a chinstrap and rain protection. Available in yellow, white, orange and red.

INTELLIGENT VENTILATION
More ventilation holes distributed over a larger area offer maximum throughflow of air without affecting the helmet’s strength.

UNIQUE DESIGN
The slim design means that falling objects slide off easily and do not dislodge the helmet from its position. The soft design, without any sharp or protruding components, the extremely comfortable lining and the simple adjustment of the neck strap make the G3000 unique.

BETTER SAFETY
The helmet gets top marks for absorbing and distributing forces from falling objects. The shell is made of a specially developed UV-stabilised ABS plastic with excellent properties and a top-quality fi nish.

MAXIMUM FIELD OF VISION
To improve the fi eld of vision, the helmet has been designed with a shorter screen, without compromising on anti-dazzle and other properties.

REVERSIBLE HELMET LINING
The helmet lining can be turned through 180 degrees – a big advantage when working in confi ned spaces, as it gives the wearer the maximum field of vision.

G2000 Solaris With UV Indicator

LONG LIVE THE WORK HELMET. OR? The damage done to a work helmet is caused by three main factors. Two of them are readily visible – falling objects and corrosive chemicals. But there is also a hidden factor: The sun. While you’re working, the sun’s ultraviolet rays will gradually break down the material your helmet is made of, eventually putting your life at risk. The helmet will, however, almost look the same, no matter how aged by sunshine it is. Now, for the first time, Peltor makes it possible for you to tell how old your helmet really is. This revolutionary new technology is a special type of UV indicator. The indicator is built into the back of the helmet, telling you when it’s time to replace your helmet. Whether you are working on a construction site, in a harbour, or in the forest, the UV indicator will keep you safer than ever before. It might even save your life.

RED – THE NEW SIGN OF SAFETY. The UV indicator has been tested for several years, in natural environments as well as in laboratories, and it has been exposed to ultraviolet light of varying intensity. Through the results, we have been able to refine its design and function, finally arriving at a durable and user-friendly product. The indicator, built into the helmet, is simplicity itself. Its display is shaped like a small clock. At the beginning, it will be filled with an intense red colour. With the passage of time and the helmet’s exposure to sunlight, the indicator will gradually lose its colour. When it has turned completely white, then you’ll know it’s time to change your helmet. Simple – and safe.

IT’S THE MONEY AND YOUR LIFE. The UV indicator will provide you with two great advantages. It’s a simple case of life and money. Today, lots of work helmets all over the world are being disposed of before their time. Behind this, of course, lies the desire to prevent anyone from the risks of using a sun-damaged helmet. However, the pressure to ensure safety may cause unnecessary costs to the company in the long run. On the other hand, using a helmet too long is also very risky. In different parts of the world, the same helmet’s lifetime will sharply differ, depending on how much – and how intensive – sunlight it is exposed to. This is where the UV indicator will vastly improve the safety of anyone working outdoors. With the indicator, you’ll have no trouble telling when your helmet’s work is done.

HEADING FOR A SAFER FUTURE. As production gets fully adjusted to the new technology, all new Peltor helmets will feature the indicator, adding even more safety to an already very reliable product. Of course, all new helmets will also have the well-known, comfortable design that have made them highly appreciated products in head protection for decades.
